WILDWIND PERFORMANCE LAB (USA)

Shooting Blanks is a comedy set in a pre-play development workshop. It brings together a disparate number of potential playwrights who all want their voices to be heard. When the workshop leader suggests that his only piece of advice is that students do not include a gun in their plays unless it will be shot, it sends the participants into a frenzy of comic despair, erupting in a catharsis for the leader and each member of the workshop itself. Fun! Fun! Fun!
